A Prisync alternative for teams who need the whole product
A Prisync alternative is worth considering when the features you need sit above the tier you can afford. Prisync published $99 a month for 100 products on its URL Based model on 24 July 2026, with repricing on Premium, MAP monitoring on Platinum only, and API access charged at an extra 20%.

Prisync publishes its complete price list, which makes it easy to check this page. On prisync.com on 24 July 2026, the cheapest plan was $99 a month for up to 100 products on the URL Based model, with unlimited competitors and three price updates a day. The reason people search for a Prisync alternative is usually not the entry price. It is what the entry price does not include: the Dynamic Pricing Engine starts at Premium, MAP Monitoring is Platinum only, API access is charged at an extra 20% on top of the monthly subscription, and each additional sales channel is $100 or $200 a month. If your catalogue is under 100 products, you sell on Shopify and you have no MAP obligation, stay where you are. Prisync's Shopify App Store listing was $49 a month on the same date, which is cheaper than anything we sell.
What Prisync costs
Everything below was read from prisync.com on 24 July 2026, the same day we read every vendor in the full pricing study. Prisync sells three monitoring models, and the model you pick changes the price and the refresh rate before you even get to a tier. URL Based means you supply competitor product URLs. Channel Based means Prisync pulls from a sales channel. Hybrid combines the two.
| Monitoring model | Professional (100 products) | Premium (1,000 products) | Platinum (5,000 products) | Refresh rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| URL Based | $99/month | $199/month | $399/month | 3 times a day |
| Channel Based | $199/month | $399/month | $599/month | Daily |
| Hybrid | $299/month | $599/month | $799/month | Channel products daily, manually added competitors 3 times a day |
Above 5,000 products, Prisync directs you to chat rather than publishing a price. Channel Based and Hybrid plans include one sales channel; additional channels are +$100/month per channel on Professional and +$200/month per channel on Premium and Platinum. The URL Based model has no channel concept and no channel fee.
What sits behind which tier
Unlimited Competitors appears on all nine published plans, which is a genuine strength and we come back to it below. What moves up the ladder is the set of capabilities that turn a price report into a workflow.

The line items that are not in the sticker price
API access carries a surcharge. The footnote under Prisync's pricing table, as published on 24 July 2026, reads that API access will be charged for an extra 20% on top of your monthly subscription fee. On URL Based Platinum at $399 a month that is $79.80, taking the monthly total to $478.80.
Extra sales channels are billed monthly. On the Channel Based and Hybrid models one channel is included and each additional channel is $100 a month on Professional and $200 a month on Premium and Platinum, as published on 24 July 2026. A Channel Based Premium plan covering three channels is therefore $399 plus $400, or $799 a month, before any API surcharge.
Competitor matching beyond the big two is a service you order. Prisync's own footnote says direct competitor matching is available for broader coverage beyond Google Shopping and Amazon, and the equivalent table on their MAP page words it as a competitor matching service available to order. No price is published for it on either page.
The Shopify App Store listing is priced differently
If you sell on Shopify, the prices above may not be the ones you pay. Prisync maintains a separate Shopify App Store listing with Shopify-exclusive pricing. Read on 24 July 2026, that listing showed Professional at $49 a month for up to 100 products or variants, Premium at $199 for up to 1,000, and Platinum at $399 for up to 5,000, all with a 14-day free trial and charges billed in USD every 30 days through Shopify. The Professional plan carries a banner stating that Channel-Based and Hybrid tracking is free in that plan, exclusive to Shopify users.
That gap matters for a comparison. A Shopify merchant reading prisync.com would conclude that channel based tracking for 100 products costs $199 a month; the app listing puts a similar shape at $49. Two things to note before you assume the listing is simply cheaper. On the app listing, Premium adds +$100 a month per channel and Platinum adds +$200 a month per channel. And the published feature lists on the app listing do not name MAP monitoring at any tier, so if MAP is your reason for buying, ask them which listing gives you it. Our Shopify integration page covers what we connect to on that platform.
Where Prisync is the better choice
Four situations where we would tell you to buy Prisync. None of them are straw men, and two of them are about price.
You are a Shopify merchant under 100 products with no MAP obligation
$49 a month on the Shopify App Store listing, as published on 24 July 2026, with three price and stock updates a day, unlimited competitors, Excel export and worldwide site and currency coverage. Our cheapest plan is $99 a month. If that is your shape, Prisync is half the price and you should buy it. Come back when you are tracking more than 100 variants or a supplier starts asking you about MAP.
You track a small catalogue against a very large number of sellers
Unlimited Competitors appears on all nine published Prisync plans. Our Starter plan caps competitor URLs at 10 per product. Worked example: 80 products, each contested by 25 sellers, is 2,000 competitor URLs. Prisync's URL Based Professional covers that at $99 a month because the product count is what is metered. On our side that shape needs Growth at $299 a month, because unlimited competitor URLs start there. For that catalogue Prisync is $200 a month cheaper, and the difference is structural rather than promotional.
Intraday refresh matters more to you than catalogue size
At the same $99 entry price, the URL Based model updates three times a day for 100 products. Our Starter plan refreshes once a day for 500 products. If you sell in a category where a 9am price is stale by lunchtime and your catalogue is genuinely small, that is a straightforward win for them. Twice-daily refresh on our side starts at Growth, at $299.
You want the narrowest possible tool
Prisync has been in this market a long time, the product is deliberately narrow, and free onboarding is published as part of the offer. There is a real cost to buying a platform when what you needed was a price list. If nothing in the next section is on your requirements document, do not pay for it.
Where we are different
Our argument is packaging, and you can check it against our pricing page in thirty seconds. We publish four prices. Every one of them includes automatic matching, MAP monitoring with timestamped screenshot evidence, repricing with hard guardrails, analytics, the REST API, webhooks, every integration and unlimited users. What a higher plan buys is scale: Starter is $99 a month for 500 products at daily refresh, Growth is $299 for 2,500 products at twice daily, Scale is $699 for 10,000 products at four times daily, and Enterprise is custom for unlimited products at hourly refresh with an SLA and SSO. Annual billing saves roughly two months.

What packaging does to a configured price
Take a brand tracking 1,000 products that needs MAP monitoring and API access. On Prisync's published figures for 24 July 2026, MAP Monitoring is a Platinum capability, so the plan is URL Based Platinum at $399 a month even though 1,000 products would otherwise fit inside Premium. Add the published API surcharge of 20% and the monthly total is $478.80. The same requirement on our side is Growth at $299 a month, with MAP, repricing, the API and webhooks already switched on. The $179.80 monthly difference is not a discount. It is the same catalogue, priced by a different rule.
MAP evidence rather than MAP alerts
A below-MAP alert on its own is not enforcement. When we detect a violation we capture a timestamped screenshot of the offending page, identify the seller, track repeat offenders over time, and export an evidence packet you can attach to a notice. A $199 MAP listed at $159 is 20.1% below MAP, and the percentage matters less than being able to prove the listing existed at that price on that date after the seller has quietly changed it back. MAP monitoring software goes through what the evidence has to contain.

Matching you can audit
Matching runs a GTIN, UPC or EAN exact join first, then title and attribute embeddings, then image comparison. Every match carries a confidence score, you confirm or correct it in one click, and your corrections feed back into the matcher. It is included on every plan rather than ordered as a service. Our product matching guide explains where each of those three layers fails and what to look for in a trial.

Per-source data quality reporting
We make no claim about how well any other vendor collects data, because we have not measured it and neither has anyone else who is selling you something. What we will state is what we publish. You get a coverage and freshness dashboard broken down by source, so you can see that a given retailer stopped returning prices four days ago instead of finding out in a quarterly review. When a site changes layout the extraction recipe is regenerated automatically. When a product URL moves, the match is rediscovered by identifier rather than by URL. You are alerted when a source degrades. The mechanics are on data quality.

How to evaluate a Prisync alternative before you switch
Both products publish a 14-day free trial with no credit card, which means you can test this properly instead of watching two demos. The procedure below takes about a day of attention and settles the question. Our own view of what competitor price monitoring has to do to be worth paying for is on the product page.
- 1
Pick the 50 SKUs that are hardest to match
Not your bestsellers. Pick variant-heavy products, bundles, private label items with no GTIN, products sold under different names by different retailers, and anything listed on a marketplace by more than five sellers. Every tool matches easy SKUs.
- 2
Run both trials on the same list in the same week
Load the identical 50 SKUs and the identical competitor set into each. Do not let one tool see a cleaner input than the other, and do not run them a month apart, because the market moves.
- 3
Check every match by hand and score it
Open each match and mark it correct, wrong or missing. Fifty products against five competitors is 250 judgements, which is about two hours. Count wrong matches separately from missing ones: a missing match is a gap, a wrong match is a bad price feeding a repricing rule.
- 4
Price the full configuration, not the entry tier
Write down every line at your real numbers: base plan at your actual product count, API surcharge if you need the API, per-channel fees for every channel beyond the first, matching services, and any tier you are pushed onto by a single capability such as MAP. Compare totals, not headline prices.
- 5
Test what happens when a source breaks
Change a tracked product URL on your own store, or pick a competitor that redirects an old product page. See whether the tool tells you it lost the product, keeps reporting the last known price, or drops it silently. This is the failure mode that costs money, because a stale price looks exactly like a fresh one on a dashboard.
- 6
Export the data before you commit
Pull the full dataset out of both trials and open it. Check that each observation carries a timestamp, the source URL, the seller name and the stock status. If you cannot reconcile the export against the dashboard during a trial, you will not be able to reconcile it in an audit either.
If you are looking at more than two vendors, how to choose price monitoring software turns this into a scoring rubric you can hand to a colleague.
Run both trials on the same 50 SKUs
Fourteen days, no credit card, and every capability switched on from the first minute. Or read our pricing first; all four numbers are on the page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Prisync cost?
As published on prisync.com on 24 July 2026, the URL Based model runs $99 a month for up to 100 products, $199 for up to 1,000 and $399 for up to 5,000. Channel Based runs $199, $399 and $599. Hybrid runs $299, $599 and $799. Above 5,000 products Prisync directs you to chat rather than publishing a price.
Does Prisync include MAP monitoring on every plan?
No. On the pricing table published on 24 July 2026, MAP Monitoring appears only on the Platinum tier in all three monitoring models, labelled For Suppliers - MAP Monitoring, alongside a Recommended Price Module on the same tier. On URL Based that is $399 a month. Our plans include MAP monitoring with screenshot evidence at every tier, starting at $99 a month.
Does Prisync charge extra for API access?
Yes. The footnote on Prisync's pricing table, as published on 24 July 2026, reads that API access will be charged for an extra 20% on top of your monthly subscription fee. API Access is listed as a bullet on Premium and Platinum only and does not appear on any Professional tier. On a $399 Platinum plan the surcharge works out at $79.80 a month.
Why is Prisync cheaper on the Shopify App Store?
Prisync publishes Shopify-exclusive pricing on its App Store listing. Read on 24 July 2026, that listing showed Professional at $49 a month for up to 100 products or variants, Premium at $199 and Platinum at $399, with a banner stating that Channel-Based and Hybrid tracking is free in the Professional plan. We cannot tell you why the two price lists differ, only that on that date they did.
Does Prisync offer annual billing or an annual discount?
No annual plan and no annual discount appear anywhere on prisync.com, read on 24 July 2026. The site describes a monthly subscription billed automatically by credit card on the subscription anniversary day. Our own annual billing saves roughly two months against paying monthly, and all four of our plan prices are published.
Who are the main Prisync competitors?
Vendors that published complete pricing on their own sites on 24 July 2026 include Prisync, Pricefy, MAP Authority and us. Price2Spy, Minderest, Competera and Wiser Solutions published no prices at all on that date, and Intelligence Node published a $5,000 a month minimum project size. Our pricing study lists fifteen vendors with the source for every figure.
