A Price2Spy alternative that publishes every number
Price2Spy prices by monitored product URL rather than by competitor or by seat. On 24 July 2026 its pricing page showed no prices for Starter or Basic and price upon request for Premium. Automatch, screenshot capture and repricing are paid add-ons with no published prices. A Price2Spy alternative worth checking is one that publishes every number.

Price2Spy sells by monitored product URL, which is a genuinely different meter from the per-product tiers most of this category uses. On price2spy.com/pricing.html on 24 July 2026, the Starter and Basic cards showed no price at all and carried only a Try for free button, and Premium said price upon request. We are reporting what the page displayed on that date. We do not know the reason and we are not going to guess. What their published pages do tell you is where the rest of the cost lands: Automatch, screenshot capture, Advanced Repricing, the Google Analytics 4 integration, extra users and extra reports are all charged on top, and none of them carry a published price. If your requirement is unusual, if you need data beyond the price, or if a per-URL meter fits your catalogue shape better than per-product tiers, Price2Spy is the right call and you should stay with it.
What Price2Spy costs
Start with the meter, because it is the part that is clearly documented. Price2Spy's FAQ states that their price plans have been created based on the monitored number of URLs, a product URL being a unique product page on a monitored site, and explicitly not the number of competitors. Three different products in a webshop are three individual product URLs. That is an unusual and defensible way to sell, and for some catalogues it is the fairer one.
The figure itself was not on the page. We read price2spy.com/pricing.html on 24 July 2026 and recorded what it displayed, on the same day we read every vendor in the full pricing study. Starter and Basic carried no price and only a Try for free call to action. Premium said price upon request. Enterprise routes to a Request an enterprise offer form. Prices may be published again, or quoted quickly on a call, and the only way to know is to ask them directly.
| Tier | Price shown | What the card lists | What the card says is excluded |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | No price; the only call to action was Try for free | Price monitoring, market analytics reports, pricing dashboard, product feed integration, bulk product import, Quick Match, daily price change alerts, up to 10 competitors | No dedicated support, no custom development, no custom reports. URL allowance is not stated |
| Basic | No price; the only call to action was Try for free | Everything in Starter, plus chat and email support, custom development, 1 automated custom report, marketplace monitoring, historical pricing reports, ecommerce platform integrations, currency exchange, MAP monitoring, instant price change alerts, product variations | URL allowance, seat count and check frequency are not stated |
| Premium | Price upon request | Everything in Basic, plus API access, capturing additional details, up to 8 price checks per day, user management, 3 user seats, 5 custom automated reports | No price. The card adds that if you need only one Premium feature you can ask for a customised offer |
| Enterprise | No price; the call to action is Request an enterprise offer | A tailor-made solution. Their Stealth page states the Stealth IP traffic limit does not apply to Enterprise clients | No price and no published scope |

What is charged on top of the subscription
Price2Spy is direct about the fact that modules and services cost extra. Their pricing page groups them as additional modules, services and usage-based additions, described as things you may opt for regardless of the pricing tier you choose, and states that these come with a separate cost. The billing shape is published in several cases even where the number is not, which is useful when you are preparing questions for a quote call.
| Module or service | How it is billed, as published | Price published? |
|---|---|---|
| Automatch (automated product matching) | A one-off setup cost calculated per competitor rather than per number of products, plus a monthly cost that depends on the number of products, the number of competitors and the frequency of Automatch checks | No |
| Quick Match (Amazon, Google Shopping, Idealo, Prisjakt) | Included. The setup fee is waived and the matching is done free, on every tier including Starter | Included at no charge |
| Capturing screenshots (MAP evidence) | Paid add-on, available to Basic and Premium users and not to Starter. Enabling it requires contacting support | No |
| Advanced Repricing | Paid module. Their FAQ states costs vary depending on account size. Indirect and Direct variants exist | No |
| API access | Not sold a la carte. Listed under Premium, which is price upon request | No |
| MAP monitoring | Not a module. Tier-gated to Basic and above | No, because no tier price is published |
| Stealth IP traffic | Usage-based, metered in MB per day, with a limit that does not apply to Enterprise clients. Exceeding it is quoted individually | No |
| Additional users and additional automated reports | Usage-based additions on top of the plan allowance. Base allowances published: no custom reports on Starter, 1 on Basic, 5 on Premium | No |
| Google Analytics 4 integration, account control, product matching service, product data extraction, custom development | All listed under paid modules and services | No |
Compiled from price2spy.com pricing, FAQ, Automatch, capturing screenshots, repricing and Stealth pages, all read 24 July 2026.
Two more gaps worth turning into questions. Seat allowances are published only for Premium, which lists three user seats; Starter and Basic seat counts are not stated and extra users are a usage-based addition. Check frequency is published only for Premium, which lists up to 8 price checks per day; Starter and Basic frequencies are not published at all. Refresh rate is one of the two variables that decides whether a price tool is useful, so do not sign without it.
Where Price2Spy is the better choice
Four cases where we would tell you to buy Price2Spy, and they follow directly from how the product is built.
Your catalogue has very uneven competitor coverage
Per-URL billing charges for what you actually monitor. If 40 of your SKUs are contested by fifteen sellers each and 400 are contested by nobody, a per-product tier makes you buy 440 product slots and then usually caps how many competitor URLs each slot may carry. Our Starter plan is exactly that shape: 500 products at $99 a month, but 10 competitor URLs per product, so a single SKU contested by fifteen sellers pushes the whole account to Growth at $299. Price2Spy meters URLs and publishes no competitor cap above Starter, which for a lopsided catalogue is a better fit in principle. You still have to get the number from them, but the model is sound.
You need data that is not the price
Price2Spy's Premium tier publishes capturing additional details: shipping cost and time, stock status, seller name, rating, review count, average review score and custom details. They publish Stealth IP traffic for bot-aware sites, metered in MB per day with a calculator on their own site. They publish user management with roles and a full audit trail of who added or updated each object. They publish site crawl and custom development as paid services. If your requirement is genuinely unusual, they publish a route to it. We do not sell custom development, and that is a real difference rather than a positioning one.
You want to buy one capability rather than a package
The Premium card states that if you need only one of the Premium features, you can contact them for a customised offer based on your specific needs. That flexibility is real and we do not offer it. Our plans are fixed on purpose, which is the right answer for most buyers and the wrong answer for a buyer who wants exactly one thing and nothing else.
Idealo or Prisjakt are where your market compares prices
Quick Match is included on every tier including Starter, its setup fee is waived, and the matching through it is done free. It covers Amazon, Google Shopping, Idealo and Prisjakt. If you sell into European markets where Idealo or Prisjakt are where price comparison actually happens, that is published coverage on their side and it is not published coverage on ours.
Where we are different
We publish four prices and the same feature list under all four. Starter is $99 a month for 500 products at daily refresh with 10 competitor URLs per product. Growth is $299 for 2,500 products at twice-daily refresh with unlimited competitor URLs. Scale is $699 for 10,000 products at four times daily. Enterprise is custom for unlimited products at hourly refresh with an SLA and SSO. Every plan includes matching, MAP monitoring with screenshot evidence, repricing, analytics, the REST API, webhooks, every integration and unlimited users. Annual billing saves roughly two months. It is all on our pricing page.

Five line items become one
Take a brand that needs MAP monitoring with screenshot evidence, automated matching beyond Amazon and Google Shopping, repricing, and API access. Assembled from Price2Spy's own published packaging, that is a Basic or Premium subscription, the capturing screenshots add-on, Automatch with its per-competitor one-off setup and its monthly fee, the Advanced Repricing module, and Premium specifically for the API. Five line items, and on 24 July 2026 none of the five carried a published price. The same requirement on our side is one line: $99 a month for 500 products, or $299 for 2,500. That is a packaging difference, not a claim about the quality of anyone's product.
MAP evidence is not an add-on here
On our plans, detecting a below-MAP listing and capturing the proof are the same feature. We take a timestamped screenshot of the offending page, identify the seller, track repeat offenders over time, and export an evidence packet you can attach to a notice. A $199 MAP listed at $159 is 20.1% below MAP, and the arithmetic is the easy part. The hard part is proving the listing existed at that price on that date once the seller has put it back. MAP monitoring software covers what the evidence needs to contain.

Matching is included, layered and scored
Matching runs a GTIN, UPC or EAN exact join first, then title and attribute embeddings, then image comparison. Every match carries a confidence score, you confirm or correct it in one click, and your corrections feed back into the matcher. There is no setup fee per competitor and no separate monthly line, because it is not a separate product. Our product matching guide walks through where each layer fails, which is the thing to test in any trial.
Product matching — confirmation queue
| Your product | Matched at | Method | Confidence | Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aurora H7 Noise-Cancelling Headphones — SandGTIN 009100010713 | Voltbay | GTIN exact | 94% | Confirm or correct |
| Aurora Buds ProGTIN 009100014284 | Harborline | Title + attributes | 97% | Auto-confirmed |
| Aurora Buds Pro — BlackGTIN 009100017855 | PrimeDeck | Image + title | 94% | Confirm or correct |
| Aurora Buds Pro — Midnight BlueGTIN 009100021426 | Casa & Kin | GTIN exact | 99% | Auto-confirmed |
| Aurora Buds Pro — SandGTIN 009100024997 | Belmont Direct | Title + attributes | 90% | Confirm or correct |
Matches at or above 95% confidence are applied automatically. Anything below is queued, and every correction you make is fed back into matching.
The API is on the $99 plan
Price2Spy lists API access under Premium, and Premium is price upon request. Ours is on every plan, alongside webhooks, CSV and SFTP. If your plan is to pull competitor prices into a warehouse and run your own analysis, the tier you sit on should not be decided by that. The same applies to competitor price monitoring generally: the integration surface is infrastructure, not a premium feature.

Per-source data quality reporting
We make no claim about how well any other vendor collects data, because we have not measured it and neither has anyone else who is selling you something. What we will state is what we publish. You get a coverage and freshness dashboard broken down by source, so you can see that a retailer stopped returning prices four days ago rather than discovering it in a quarterly review. When a site changes layout, the extraction recipe is regenerated automatically. When a product URL moves, the match is rediscovered by identifier rather than by URL. Prices pass plausibility validation before they are stored, and you are alerted when a source degrades. The detail is on data quality.

How to evaluate a Price2Spy alternative before you switch
Both products run a 14-day trial with no credit card, so this can be tested rather than argued about. Because Price2Spy's cost depends on a quote, the pricing step matters more here than on most comparisons: do it first, in parallel with the trial, so you are not two weeks into an evaluation before you learn the number.
- 1
Ask for the full quote on day one
Request the URL allowance and price at each tier, the Automatch one-off setup per competitor and its monthly figure at your product and competitor counts, the monthly cost of capturing screenshots, the Advanced Repricing fee for your account size, the check frequency on Starter and Basic, and the seat count below Premium. All six were unpublished on 24 July 2026, and all six change the total.
- 2
Pick the 50 SKUs that are hardest to match
Not your bestsellers. Variant-heavy products, bundles, private label items with no GTIN, products sold under different names by different retailers, and anything a marketplace lists under more than five sellers. Every tool matches easy SKUs, so easy SKUs tell you nothing.
- 3
Run both trials on the same list in the same week
Load the identical 50 SKUs and the identical competitor set into each. Note which matches came from an included capability and which required a paid module, because that distinction is the whole commercial question here.
- 4
Check every match by hand and score it
Mark each one correct, wrong or missing. Fifty products against five competitors is 250 judgements, roughly two hours. Count wrong matches separately from missing ones: a missing match is a gap you can see, a wrong match is a bad price feeding a repricing rule you cannot see.
- 5
Price the full configuration, not the entry tier
Write down every line at your real numbers, including the modules you will switch on in month three rather than month one. Then compare totals. An unpublished price is not automatically a high one, but it is a number you have to obtain before you can compare anything.
- 6
Test what happens when a source breaks
Change a tracked product URL on your own store, or pick a competitor that redirects an old product page. See whether the tool tells you it lost the product, keeps reporting the last known price, or drops it silently. A stale price looks exactly like a fresh one on a dashboard, which is why this is the failure mode that costs money.
For a shortlist longer than two, how to choose price monitoring software turns this into a scoring sheet you can hand to a colleague and defend in a review.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Price2Spy cost?
On 24 July 2026, price2spy.com/pricing.html displayed no price for Starter or Basic, and both cards carried only a Try for free call to action. Premium was shown as price upon request and Enterprise routes to a quote form. Plans are sized by the number of monitored product URLs, not by number of competitors or seats. Modules and services are charged separately and those prices are not published either.
Does Price2Spy include MAP monitoring?
MAP monitoring is listed on Basic and above and does not appear on the Starter card, as published on 24 July 2026. Screenshot capture, which is what makes a violation usable as evidence, is a separate paid add-on available to Basic and Premium users only, and enabling it requires contacting support. No price is published for it. Our plans include MAP monitoring with screenshot evidence from $99 a month.
Is Automatch included in Price2Spy?
No. Automatch is a paid add-on. Price2Spy publishes the shape of the bill but not the figure: a one-off setup cost calculated per competitor rather than per number of products, plus a monthly cost that depends on the number of products, the number of competitors and how often Automatch checks run. Quick Match, covering Amazon, Google Shopping, Idealo and Prisjakt, is included and its setup fee is waived.
Does Price2Spy have an API?
Yes. API access is listed under the Premium tier as published on 24 July 2026, and Premium is shown as price upon request, so the API has no published price. It is not sold separately on lower tiers. On our plans the REST API and webhooks are included from the $99 Starter plan upward, along with CSV and SFTP.
Does Price2Spy offer a free trial?
Yes. Their FAQ states that all potential clients have a free 14-day trial and that no credit card information is needed to register. Their Starter trial material also advertises a limited-time incentive of 14 days of the Repricing module free for accounts that upgrade to Basic before the trial ends. We also run a 14-day trial with no credit card required.
What should I ask on a Price2Spy quote call?
Six things that were unpublished on 24 July 2026: the URL allowance and price at each tier, the Automatch setup cost per competitor and its monthly figure at your volumes, the monthly cost of the capturing screenshots add-on, the Advanced Repricing fee for your account size, the check frequency on Starter and Basic, and the included seat count below Premium. Each one moves the total.
