A Boardfy alternative: model the per-competitor fee first
Boardfy ecommerce plans start at EUR 49 per month for 1,000 products on marketplaces and comparison sites, as published on 24 July 2026. Monitoring competitors' own websites starts at EUR 69 per month plus EUR 39.90 per competitor, which is why buyers price a Boardfy alternative once their competitor list grows.

Boardfy publishes one of the lowest entry prices in this category and one of the most conditional. As published on their ecommerce pricing page on 24 July 2026, EUR 49 per month covers 1,000 products on marketplaces and comparison sites, or EUR 490 per year. That figure is genuinely cheap and nothing here beats it. The condition is the channel. Monitoring competitors' own websites is a different ladder starting at EUR 69 per month for 1,000 products, and it adds EUR 39.90 per month for every competitor you track. Matching for direct-website monitoring is either work you do yourself in their panel or a service starting at EUR 99 per month. Dynamic Pricing, the API and Feed Optimizer are separate lines, and every price is stated per channel and country. If you are a European retailer watching marketplaces, buy Boardfy. If you are watching six competitor storefronts across two countries, build the whole bill before you compare anything.
What Boardfy costs
Every figure in this section is as published on the Boardfy ecommerce and brands pricing pages on 24 July 2026. Boardfy runs four separate ladders, split by who you are (retailer or brand) and by what you watch (marketplaces or competitors' own sites). Buyers who compare only the headline miss that the ladders differ by more than a rounding.
| Products | Marketplaces and comparison sites | Competitors' own websites |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | EUR 49/month (EUR 490/year) | EUR 69/month, plus EUR 39.90 per competitor |
| 1,500 | EUR 55/month | EUR 89/month, plus per-competitor fee |
| 2,000 | EUR 75/month | EUR 109/month, plus per-competitor fee |
| 2,500 | EUR 89/month | EUR 129/month, plus per-competitor fee |
| 3,500 | EUR 119/month | EUR 169/month, plus per-competitor fee |
| 5,000 | EUR 159/month | EUR 209/month, plus per-competitor fee |
| 7,500 | EUR 229/month | EUR 299/month, plus per-competitor fee |
Source: the Boardfy ecommerce pricing page, read 24 July 2026. The ladder continues to 20,000 products at EUR 549 per month on the marketplace track, with volumes above that quoted by sales. Prices are stated per channel and country.
Alongside the base plan, Boardfy publishes these as separate charges, all read on 24 July 2026: a products matching service for direct-website monitoring at EUR 99 per month, rising to EUR 199 and EUR 249 at higher volumes, with matching products yourself listed as free; Feed Optimizer from EUR 49 to EUR 99 per month; Dynamic Pricing from EUR 99 to EUR 129 per month; and the Boardfy API at a flat EUR 39 per month. Feed Optimizer and Dynamic Pricing are both priced per channel and country. Unlimited users are included, and the trial is 7 days with no card.
Brands buy from a different sheet. As published on the brands pricing page on 24 July 2026, monitoring distributors' own websites starts at EUR 39.50 per month for 150 products, plus a per-distributor fee published as $34.50 per month, with a dollar sign on an otherwise euro page, so confirm the billing currency. Monitoring marketplaces as a brand starts at EUR 199 per month for the same 150 products, which is the inverse of the retailer sheet. Check both ladders.
The per-competitor fee, worked
Here is the configuration that changes the answer: a retailer with 2,000 products who wants to watch six competitors' own storefronts in one country.
| Line | Basis | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| Base plan, direct websites | 2,000 products | EUR 109.00 |
| Competitor fee | 6 competitors at EUR 39.90 | EUR 239.40 |
| Products matching service | Optional. Free if you match products yourself | EUR 99.00 |
| Boardfy API | Flat rate | EUR 39.00 |
| Dynamic Pricing | Add-on, per channel and country | EUR 99.00 |
| Total | One channel, one country | EUR 585.40 |
Arithmetic shown for illustration using published rates: 109.00 + 239.40 = 348.40 before add-ons, and 585.40 with all four lines. Prices are per channel and country, so a second country repeats the base plan and the add-ons.
Where Boardfy is the better choice
There are four situations where Boardfy is the right purchase, and the first one is not close.
- Marketplace and comparison-site monitoring in Europe. EUR 49 per month for 1,000 products, as published 24 July 2026, is cheaper than anything on our price list, and Boardfy publishes automatic, unlimited competitor discovery on marketplaces, meaning you are not paying per rival on that track. If your competitive picture lives on Amazon, Google Shopping and comparison sites, buy Boardfy and spend the difference elsewhere.
- You need an EU-native vendor. Boardfy is a Spanish company, publishes in Spanish, English and Portuguese, prices in euros and lists EU-specific integrations including FNAC and Google Merchant. We publish in dollars for a United States market. Euro invoicing and an EU counterparty are ordinary procurement requirements, and if they are yours, that settles it.
- Refresh interval is your binding constraint. Boardfy publishes that prices are updated in intervals of 30 minutes to 3 hours, guaranteeing that no price takes longer than three hours. The fast end of that published band beats every plan on our list, including hourly refresh on Enterprise.
- MSRP monitoring in the base plan, unlimited users. Boardfy publishes MSRP monitoring as part of the base ecommerce plan rather than as a tier upgrade, and includes unlimited users on all plans. That is the same packaging philosophy we argue for, and they deserve the credit for it rather than a straw man.
Where we are different
One number covers the whole configuration here. Starter is $99 per month for 500 products, Growth is $299 for 2,500 and Scale is $699 for 10,000. Each includes matching, MAP monitoring with timestamped screenshot evidence, repricing, analytics, the REST API and webhooks, every integration and unlimited users. There is no per-competitor fee, no per-channel or per-country multiplier, no separate matching service, no separate repricing module and no separate API line. Competitor URL allowance is 10 per product on Starter and unlimited from Growth upward, and it does not matter whether the URL points at a marketplace listing or a competitor's own storefront. The full ladder is on our pricing page.
The second difference is matching, and it is structural rather than cosmetic. Boardfy publishes that matching on marketplaces and comparison sites is fully automated, but that for competitors' own websites you get a panel showing which products look most similar to yours so you can link them yourself, with a paid matching service from EUR 99 per month as the alternative. Our matching is automatic on both channels: exact GTIN, UPC or EAN join first, then title and attribute embeddings, then image comparison. Every match carries a confidence score, you confirm or correct it in one click, and corrections feed back into the matcher. It is on every plan and it is not a separate purchase. The method is written up in the product matching guide.
Product matching — confirmation queue
| Your product | Matched at | Method | Confidence | Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aurora H7 Noise-Cancelling Headphones — SandGTIN 009100010713 | Voltbay | GTIN exact | 94% | Confirm or correct |
| Aurora Buds ProGTIN 009100014284 | Harborline | Title + attributes | 97% | Auto-confirmed |
| Aurora Buds Pro — BlackGTIN 009100017855 | PrimeDeck | Image + title | 94% | Confirm or correct |
| Aurora Buds Pro — Midnight BlueGTIN 009100021426 | Casa & Kin | GTIN exact | 99% | Auto-confirmed |
| Aurora Buds Pro — SandGTIN 009100024997 | Belmont Direct | Title + attributes | 90% | Confirm or correct |
Matches at or above 95% confidence are applied automatically. Anything below is queued, and every correction you make is fed back into matching.
The third is repricing packaging. Boardfy sells Dynamic Pricing as an add-on at EUR 99 to EUR 129 per month, priced per channel and country. Our rule builder is on every plan, with hard guardrails for margin floor, cost floor, MAP floor and maximum daily change, and changes that either queue for review, export as CSV or push straight to the connected store, with full change history. More on how the rules behave is on the repricing page.

The fourth is what neither vendor should assert without publishing it. Boardfy publishes MSRP monitoring in the base plan, which is a real advantage over vendors that gate it. Boardfy does not publish a screenshot evidence capture or an evidence-packet workflow for those violations, and does not publish a per-source coverage and freshness dashboard. Ours are published and included: a timestamped screenshot of the offending page, seller identification, repeat-offender tracking, an exportable evidence packet, and per-source data quality reporting with self-healing extraction and alerts when a source degrades. Read MAP monitoring and data quality reporting and hold us to both.

How to evaluate the switch
Boardfy publishes a 7-day trial and we publish 14 days, both without a card. Start them on the same day so the shorter window is the one you plan around.
- 1
Pick your 50 hardest SKUs
Variants, multipacks, bundles, private label, and anything without a clean GTIN. Include at least ten products that appear on competitors' own storefronts rather than on marketplaces, because that is the channel where the two products diverge most.
- 2
Run both trials on that same list, in the same week
Seven days is short. Load the same 50 products and the same competitor set into both on day one, and do not let one trial run against a quiet week and the other against a promotional one.
- 3
Check every match by hand, and time the manual ones
Open each assigned competitor URL and confirm pack size and variant, not just brand and model. On the direct-website channel, note how many matches you had to make yourself. That number is what the EUR 99 per month matching service is priced against, so it converts directly into money.
- 4
Price the full configuration, not the entry plan
Total every line you need: base plan at your product volume, per-competitor fees times your real competitor count, matching service if you will not do it by hand, Dynamic Pricing, API, Feed Optimizer, all multiplied by channels and countries. Then total ours at the plan that contains everything.
- 5
Break something on purpose
Ask each vendor what appears on screen when a source stops returning a price, and whether every stored price carries a capture time. A stale number with no age beside it is the failure that quietly feeds a repricing rule with last week's market.
Published price ladders for the whole category, including the vendors who publish nothing at all, are collected in the full pricing study. Other head-to-heads are on all comparisons, and the general framework for scoring any shortlist is in how to choose price monitoring software.
Price your real competitor list, then trial both
14 days, no credit card. Every competitor URL, every channel and every country sit inside one plan price, so the trial is the whole product.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Boardfy cost?
As published on their ecommerce pricing page on 24 July 2026, plans start at EUR 49 per month for 1,000 products on marketplaces and comparison sites, or EUR 490 per year. The ladder runs 1,500 at EUR 55, 2,000 at EUR 75, 5,000 at EUR 159 and 7,500 at EUR 229. Monitoring competitors' own websites starts at EUR 69 per month instead.
What is the Boardfy per-competitor fee?
For ecommerce direct-website monitoring, Boardfy publishes a price per competitor of EUR 39.90 per month on top of the base plan, read 24 July 2026. At 2,000 products the base plan is EUR 109 per month, so three competitors at EUR 119.70 already cost more than the plan. For brands monitoring distributors, the equivalent fee is published as $34.50 per month.
Does Boardfy include MAP or MSRP monitoring?
Boardfy publishes MSRP monitoring as part of the base ecommerce plan rather than as a tier upgrade, read 24 July 2026, and sells a dedicated MSRP Variations product for brands. Boardfy does not publish a screenshot evidence capture or evidence-packet export workflow on the pages read, so ask them what evidence a violation record contains before relying on it for enforcement.
Is product matching included with Boardfy?
It depends on the channel. Boardfy publishes that matching on marketplaces and comparison sites is fully automated. For competitors' own websites they publish a panel where you link similar products yourself at no charge, or a products matching service starting at EUR 99 per month and rising to EUR 199 and EUR 249 at higher volumes, as read on 24 July 2026.
Does Boardfy charge extra for the API and repricing?
Yes, both are published as separate lines. The Boardfy API is a flat EUR 39 per month and Dynamic Pricing runs EUR 99 to EUR 129 per month priced per channel and country, as published 24 July 2026. On our plans the REST API, webhooks and the repricing rule builder are included at every tier, starting at $99 per month for 500 products.
Boardfy or Price Intelligence for a European retailer?
If you monitor marketplaces and comparison sites, Boardfy at EUR 49 per month for 1,000 products is cheaper than anything we sell, and they invoice in euros and support EU channels natively. If you monitor several competitors' own storefronts, or sell across multiple countries, build the full bill first, because per-competitor and per-country pricing compounds quickly.
